Durow was born on 22nd October 2002, in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

He won a number of titles across nearly every category from 50cc through to MX1. Since 2023, Durow has been racing full-time in the U.S. in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship. He has also repeatedly represented South Africa in the Motocross of Nations.
