Initially touted as Spain’s next big motocross star in the early ‘10s, Jorge’s career entered a different sphere when injury and a lack of opportunity kept him out of the FIM Motocross World Championship limelight.
His tidy and attractive riding style meant he was an effective fit for supercross and arenacross (a more compact, frenetic and intense version of supercross staged in small stadia), and he also became a useful test rider and racer for Stark as they honed their Stark VARG electric bike for competition, winning the FIM E-Xplorer championship.
