The FIM World Supercross Championship has announced a strategic partnership with Recast, a leading media distribution and monetisation platform, to make more race day content available to fans and evolve how it is delivered worldwide.
World Supercross Announces Partnership with Recast

Through this partnership, World Supercross will offer flexible, pay-per-view access to extended coverage of the 2025 Championship. Recast’s innovative platform will allow content to be distributed directly to fans through a global network of riders and approved third-party affiliates, in addition to existing broadcast partnerships. This model unlocks new revenue opportunities while expanding the reach of supercross content internationally.

With five global events scheduled for the 2025 calendar, World Supercross will continue to provide core race coverage through its broadcast partners and share highlights and clips across its social media channels. This new collaboration responds to growing demand from fans for more in-depth and behind-the-scenes content, including build-up to the main races, qualifiers, and bonus footage not typically shown through traditional broadcasts.

RecastPay, a universal media wallet, will be integrated directly into World Supercross’ website, giving fans a subscription-free, pay-as-you-go way to access additional content – on their terms, and from anywhere in the world.

Recast’s Affiliate & Syndication Engine will enable World Supercross to grow its global footprint by allowing approved media partners and websites to host and promote extended coverage, earning revenue from each transaction they drive. Riders will also play a central role, using unique shareable links to connect with fans via social media and receive a share of earnings from any content accessed through their referrals.

Tom Burwell, CEO of World Supercross said: “We’re always looking for new ways to bring fans closer to the action and grow the sport on a global scale. This partnership with Recast allows us to offer even more of the content fans crave—from behind-the-scenes moments to extended race coverage—in a way that’s flexible and accessible for everyone. It also gives our riders and partners new ways to connect with audiences and share in the success, profiting from distribution. It’s an exciting step forward for the championship and for how we engage with our passionate fanbase around the world.”

Andy Meikle, Founder & CEO of Recast, added: “We’re proud to partner with World Supercross as they explore new ways to connect with fans and make more of their content accessible around the world. This collaboration represents a meaningful evolution in how rights holders can deliver premium content— flexibly, affordably, and without the constraints of traditional models.

With RecastPay, fans can access extended coverage on a pay-per-view basis, while riders, affiliates, and media partners have new ways to share and monetise that content directly. It’s an exciting step forward and one that reflects the growing appetite for more dynamic, user-centric approaches to live sport.”

All content will be made available through worldsupercrosschampionship.com, offering a seamless user experience. Fans will benefit from frictionless, subscription-free access using the RecastPay wallet. World Supercross will also gain access to opted-in data and detailed audience insights, enabling more tailored and effective fan engagement.

This partnership represents the future of content monetisation—where subscription fatigue is avoided, and fans are empowered to engage with the sport in more flexible, affordable ways. With Recast’s technology at its core, the collaboration is set to redefine how World Supercross connects with fans and expands its global reach in a changing media landscape.
