Alexander Stadium is the UK's largest athletics stadium, located just north of Birmingham city centre. Since opening in 1976, it has become one of the city's most iconic sporting venues.
Following a major redevelopment ahead of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, the stadium took centre stage, hosting the athletics competitions alongside the unforgettable Opening and Closing Ceremonies. The closest stops are around Perry Avenue / Walsall Road, approximately a short walk from the stadium entrances. On event days, follow stewarding, signage and any temporary pedestrian routes in place.
