2026 Results

The FIM World Supercross Championship began in dramatic fashion at the Canadian GP in Calgary, where Cooper Webb claimed the SX1 overall victory and defending SX2 champion Max Anstie delivered a clean sweep for Rick Ware Racing.

Webb made a winning start to his first full World Supercross season, overcoming a competitive SX1 field at McMahon Stadium. Rick Ware Racing teammate Justin Hill set the early benchmark by winning Sprint Race 1 after defending champion Jason Anderson crashed on the opening lap. Webb finished second ahead of Dean Wilson.

In Sprint Race 2, Webb responded with a composed and commanding ride. He worked through the field, excelled through the whoops and made decisive passes to take victory, with Jorge Zaragoza second and Wilson third.

The Main Event was later stopped under red flags as strong winds blew tough blocks onto the circuit before a major storm and heavy rain hit the stadium. With the final race unable to continue, the combined Sprint Race results awarded Webb the Canadian GP win. Wilson took second overall on the tiebreak, with Hill third.

SX2 250cc
SX2 also produced an impressive opening round as Anstie began his title defence with victories in both sprint races and the Main Event. However, the story of the night was the rapid pace of Stark’s electric bikes.

At Calgary’s altitude, the electric-powered Stark bikes avoided the performance reduction experienced by fuel-powered machinery.

Brian Hsu led the early stages of all three races on his World Supercross debut, while teammate Michael Hicks also made consistently explosive starts.

Anstie ultimately used his strength in the whoops and race experience to pass the Stark riders and secure a perfect three-race score. Devin Simonson finished second in Sprint Race 1, while Hicks and Hsu completed the Stark podium in Sprint Race 2.

In the Main Event, Anstie sealed the overall victory ahead of Cameron McAdoo, who claimed third overall on his World Supercross debut. Hicks finished third in the Main Event and second overall, earning Stark Future a landmark podium result.
