From a packed afternoon Fan Zone to elite SX1 and SX2 competition under the lights, the Canadian GP is designed to put fans close to the action and give every kind of racegoer a way to experience the sport in their way.

Whether you are a lifelong moto fan, bringing the kids for their first live event, or chasing a premium behind-the-scenes experience, here is what Calgary can expect.

Fan Zone Unfiltered: Start the Day Before the Gate Drops

The action begins well before the evening racing programme with Fan Zone Unfiltered, opening from 1:00pm.

Out in the Fan Zone, the main stage comes alive with an elite lineup of rider interviews. Beyond the Q&As, fans can jump up on stage for interactive activations to battle for exclusive prizes and bragging rights before heading inside.

It is the place to warm up for race night, connect with fellow fans and get immersed in the personalities and culture behind World Supercross.

The Fan Zone will also feature plenty for younger riders and families, including:

  • Stacyc Kids Demo Track for mini moto riders
  • Rider vs. Fan games, putting fans up against the riders’ top scores
  • A chance to snap and share selfies
  • Exclusive GP apparel and pop-up shopping
  • Opportunities to meet Canadian GP partners and favourite moto brands
  • Food, drinks and a place to fuel up before the racing begins

Once inside the stadium bowl, co-hosts Siv Ngesi and Sallie Grace roll out an action-packed pre-race schedule. Expect live pit walks, crowd activations right on the dirt, and deep-dive technical insights as expert race callers Lee Hogan and Danny Ham unlock the dark arts of the track.

It all culminates in a high-octane Opening Ceremony, showcasing our rockstar athletes and putting Calgary’s iconic stadium on full display to the world.

Upgrade Your Night at the Canadian GP

See World-Class Riders Race for the Canadian GP Win

The Canadian GP brings an international rider lineup to Calgary across both SX1 and SX2 competition. Fans will have the chance to see riders including Cooper Webb, Christian Craig, Dean Wilson, Max Anstie, Jason Anderson, Justin Hill, Colt Nichols, Cole Thompson and more compete for the opening-round victory.

The format builds momentum across the night, with SX2 and SX1 riders competing in two sprint races followed by main events. Each gate drop matters, every position carries value, and the final podium celebrations will cap off the first GP of the 2026 season, with the winner of each class being crowed in the season finale in New Zealand.

Get Closer With Early Entry and Track & Pit Walk Access

Fans looking for extra track time can add an Early Entry upgrade, which provides access for practice and qualifying sessions before the main show. It is an ideal option for fans who want to see the riders dial in their lines, attack the circuit and battle for qualifying positions.

For the ultimate behind-the-scenes perspective, the limited Track & Pit Walk upgrade gives fans a chance to get closer to the stadium floor before the main racing begins. It is a rare opportunity to see the scale of the build up close and experience the pre-race buzz from inside the event environment.
