British rider Anstie returns to defend his SX2 crown with his new team, Rick Ware Racing, after reaching a mutual agreement with Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing to depart the team in order to compete across the full 2026 World Supercross season.
Anstie, who dominated the SX2 class in 2025, joins the team in place of the injured Coty Schock and will be targeting back-to-back championships as World Supercross returns for another global campaign, which kicks off in Calgary,
In SX1, reigning World Supercross champion Anderson remains with Pipes Motorsports Group, bringing a wealth of experience and championship-winning pedigree to the team’s lineup.
Anderson is joined by fellow American Colt Nichols in the SX1 class, while Crockett Myers and Kyle Peters will complete the team as PMG’s SX2 riders, with Peters replacing Justin Bogle.
Moranz Completes 595 Racing’s Line Up
In SX1, Kevin Moranz is confirmed for 595 Racing, adding further depth to the premier class. The American is an experienced rider and his addition gives 595 Racing a proven competitor and strengthens their position heading into the opening stages of the Championship.
The Brazilian team is making its debut in the series and will be leaning on Moranz, alongside Greg Aranda, to lead their 450cc challenge.
The SX2 Category Confirmed
The SX2 category is also strengthened by the arrival of several high-profile riders from across the international supercross and motocross scene.
French rider Calvin Fonvieille will race for Team GSM in SX2, bringing with him a reputation for consistency, speed and technical skill.
Fonvieille has long been regarded as one of Europe’s most exciting supercross specialists, and his presence adds another serious contender to a class that is rapidly becoming one of the most competitive in the championship.
Joining him in SX2 is Jake Cannon, who has been confirmed for Venum Bud Racing. Cannon represents another exciting addition to the field, with his aggressive riding style and clear potential making him a rider capable of producing breakout performances.
Wageman Returns
Also added to the SX2 roster is Robbie Wageman, who will return to the Championship and race for MotoConcepts Racing. Wageman has experience and a hard-charging approach that should make him a strong asset for the team.
His style is well suited to supercross, and he adds further quality to an already stacked class.
Another addition is German rider Brian Hsu, who will line up for Stark in SX2. Hsu’s inclusion is particularly interesting given both his pedigree and the attention surrounding Stark’s second season in World Supercross.
His speed and versatility is essential in helping the team apply the lessons they learned in their debut season in 2025 and making more progresses in ’26.

Countdown to Canada
The timing of these announcements comes as the countdown continues to the Championship opener in Calgary on 8 August.
The Canadian round will mark the first chance for teams and riders to show their hand in competitive conditions, and with so many compelling names now confirmed, expectations are rising fast.
Calgary will provide the first real indication of who has found form early, who has adapted quickly, and who may emerge as the early championship leaders.
From there, attention will eventually turn to Birmingham, which hosts Round 02 on 10 October. The British stop is already shaping up to be a major date on the calendar.
Birmingham has the ingredients to be one of the most anticipated rounds of the season, combining a strong venue, a growing championship narrative and a rider line-up packed with established stars and fresh challengers.
