The countdown to the biggest night of the 2026 FIM World Supercross Championship is officially on, with Christchurch, New Zealand, confirmed as the destination where this year’s World Champions will be crowned.
For the first time in Championship history, World Supercross will head to New Zealand, with the season finale taking place on 5 December 2026 at the spectacular new One New Zealand Stadium. As the final gate drops on the season, the world’s fastest supercross riders will battle under the lights with Championship glory on the line.
A Historic First for World Supercross
New Zealand has long been home to passionate motorsport fans, and now it will finally welcome the world’s premier supercross championship. Christchurch becomes the newest stop on the global World Supercross calendar, giving Kiwi fans the opportunity to experience elite supercross racing live while the biggest titles in the sport are decided in dramatic fashion.
With everything still to play for, fans can expect intense racing, unforgettable moments and the electric atmosphere that only a World Supercross season finale can deliver.

Located in the heart of Christchurch, One NZ Stadium at Te Kaha provides the perfect stage for one of the biggest events on the supercross calendar. The newly developed venue combines state-of-the-art facilities with a city-centre location, creating an incredible experience for fans both inside and outside the stadium. From the opening ceremonies to the final chequered flag, the championship finale promises an unforgettable night of racing and entertainment.

Adding New Zealand to the Championship calendar represents another significant step in the continued global growth of World Supercross.
