Their teams represent the United States, Australia, France, Spain and Brazil, combining established racing heritage with new global ambition.

Here is a closer look at the people leading the charge for the 2026 season.

Yarrive Konsky – Konsky Motorsport Group / Quad Lock Honda

Yarrive Konsky’s route into elite motorcycle racing was not the conventional one. A relative latecomer to riding, he recognised shortly after leaving school that he did not have the financial backing needed to build a full-time career as a racer. Rather than walking away from the sport, he found another way in: helping riders secure sponsorship and opportunities.

That entrepreneurial instinct quickly became the foundation of his career. Konsky launched his first team when he was just 18, beginning a journey that would take him from rider management to event promotion, media and manufacturer leadership. By the mid-2000s, he was working in event promotion for the Australian Supercross Championship and working with MXTV. In 2007, he stepped into a leadership position within Honda Australia’s 250 programme.

Today, Konsky leads the Quad Lock Honda operation on the global stage. His approach is defined by ambition, attention to detail and a willingness to build for the long term. Bringing a Honda-backed team into a truly global championship was a major statement of intent, and his organisation has already shown it can deliver race wins and mount serious championship campaigns.

Dave Antolak – Rick Ware Racing

Based in Concord, North Carolina, Rick Ware Racing is a familiar and respected name across multiple forms of motorsport. Its move into World Supercross brings that broad racing pedigree into one of the sport’s most international and fast-moving environments.

Dave Antolak will again lead the team’s efforts in 2026, overseeing an operation that arrives with the expectations that come with the Rick Ware Racing name. The organisation’s identity has long been built around competing across disciplines, adapting quickly and finding ways to perform in demanding championship settings.

World Supercross presents a distinctive challenge in unfamiliar venues, international travel, short turnarounds and a field packed with proven race winners. Antolak’s task will be to ensure that Rick Ware Racing is ready to meet every one of those demands from Calgary onwards.

Serge Guidetty – Team GSM

Serge Guidetty’s relationship with racing began on the bike. Like many team principals in the World Supercross paddock, he was once a competitor himself, achieving domestic success during his youth in France.

One of the defining moments of his riding career came when he won the freestyle contest at the Bercy Supercross. From there, Guidetty shifted his focus from competing to coaching, training and team leadership. He became a licensed trainer for riders pursuing professional careers, applying his experience to developing the next generation.

Guidetty founded Team GSM in 2008. What began as a junior French team has developed into a major World Supercross presence, reflecting both his long-term commitment and his ability to build a competitive programme. Central to that mission has been a desire to support young French riders and provide a pathway from domestic racing towards the international stage.

Team GSM arrives in 2026 carrying the pride of French supercross and the determination of a team that has grown from the ground up with very much a family feel to it.

Tony Alessi – Motoconcepts Racing

Tony Alessi brings decades of racing knowledge and competitive experience to his role as team principal at Motoconcepts. Having worked closely with riders at the highest levels of motocross and supercross, he understands the demands of elite competition and the small details that can shape a result.

Motoconcepts enters the 2026 World Supercross season with a strong identity and a place in an increasingly competitive global paddock. Under Alessi’s leadership, the team will be focused on converting preparation and raw pace into consistent results across an unforgiving international calendar.

Alessi’s experience will be central as Motoconcepts tackles those challenges from the opening round in Calgary onward. Motoconcepts is set to be a team fans will watch closely throughout the season, particularly as the demands of global travel and intense competition test the depth and resilience of every operation.

Stéphane Dasse – Venum Bud Racing

Stéphane Dasse is another key figure in French motorcycle racing, and the story of Bud Racing is one built on partnership, endurance and family legacy.

Bud Racing was formed in 1995 by Dasse, his brother Sébastien and Philippe Dartiailh. Over the decades that followed, the operation built a strong reputation, including a close association with Kawasaki. After Sébastien’s passing in 2018, Stéphane continued the team’s work, preserving the legacy while expanding its reach beyond France.

Like Team GSM’s Guidetty, Dasse is deeply committed to nurturing young French riders. That talent-development focus has long been part of Bud Racing’s identity, alongside an unmistakably competitive edge.

Dasse has described World Supercross as a “very good match” for Bud Racing’s style and spirit. After a disappointing season last year, the 2026 campaign offers the chance to turn that belief into stronger results on the global stage.

Sébastien Tortelli – Stark

Sébastien Tortelli brings some of the most decorated racing experience in the paddock to Stark’s all-electric World Supercross project. A two-time Motocross World Champion, Tortelli competed at the highest level in both Europe and the United States before moving into a leadership and development role after his riding career.

He joined Stark in 2021 as Race Director and has played a central part in testing and developing the company’s VARG electric motocross bike. The goal is ambitious and highly visible: demonstrate that sustainable electric technology can compete directly with traditional combustion-powered machinery on one of motocross and supercross’s biggest stages.

Tortelli’s experience as an elite rider gives Stark valuable perspective as it develops its race programme. He understands the demands riders place on a machine, the importance of confidence and feel, and the fine margins that separate a strong result from a difficult night.

Stark’s presence is one of the most intriguing stories of the 2026 season. With Tortelli at the helm, it represents both a competitive entry and a glimpse at where the future of the sport could be heading and showcase the lessons the team learned from last year.

Guilherme Kyrillos – 595 Racing

595 Racing will make its FIM World Supercross Championship debut in 2026, bringing Brazilian representation and a fresh international outlook to the paddock.

Founded in 2021, the São Paulo-based organisation is supported by KTM in Brazil. Its CEO, Guilherme Kyrillos, is a former rider who has built the team around an ethos of supporting competitors at different stages of their careers.

That approach has helped create a multicultural environment, bringing together riders of different nationalities while delivering success in domestic championships. Now, Kyrillos and 595 Racing face their biggest step yet, adapting that proven domestic platform to the intensity and scale of World Supercross.

For Brazilian fans, 595 Racing’s arrival is an important moment. For the wider championship, it is another sign of World Supercross’s expanding reach – a series increasingly shaped by teams and talent from every corner of the racing world.

Dustin Pipes – Pipes Motorsport Group

Dustin Pipes grew up in Madera, California, immersed in motorcycle racing from an early age. His family organised races for the California Motorcycle Association, giving him a close-up view of the sport’s grassroots foundations and helping cultivate a lifelong competitive drive.

Pipes raced himself and achieved notable results, although he never felt there was a straightforward route to the highest level as a rider. As his competitive riding years began to wind down, he made a decision that would define the next chapter of his career: he formed his own team.

That choice led to the creation of Pipes Motorsport Group, a privateer organisation that has earned a reputation for professionalism, perseverance and identifying talent. The team has earned a reputation for not only for competing hard against larger operations, but for helping riders develop the tools, confidence and structure required to progress.

In the paddock, Pipes represents the independent team spirit. His team may be rooted in the privateer world, but its ambitions are every bit as serious as any factory-backed team.

When the championship opens in Calgary on 8 August, the focus will quickly turn to gate drops, holeshots, rhythm sections and race wins. But behind every rider will be a team boss trying to make the right call under pressure.
