With teams representing North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, the Canadian GP is set to deliver a truly global supercross spectacle. Every start, rhythm lane, whoop section and final-lap battle will count as the SX1 and SX2 fields prepare to go bar-to-bar in front of an electric Canadian crowd at the McMahon Stadium on August 8th.
Pipies Motorsports Group
Pipes Motorsports Group brings a powerful American pairing in Jason Anderson and Colt Nichols. Anderson is one of the sport’s most naturally spectacular riders, known for his creative line choices, raw aggression and ability to make something happen from anywhere on the track. Put him in a tight main event and the intensity rises instantly. Alongside him, Nichols brings proven experience, composure and the kind of speed that can keep a rider in the fight throughout a long, demanding night of racing.
Pipes’ SX2 line up features Crockett Myers and Kyle Peters, a duo ready to make their mark in a division stacked with depth. Both riders will be looking to build momentum early and put themselves in position when the mains reach their decisive stages.
Konsky Motorsport Group
KMG — Konsky Motorsport Group arrives with one of the most compelling stories of the Canadian GP. Dean Wilson will line up in SX1 for Calgary only, stepping in for the injured Joey Savatgy. The UK/Canadian rider is no stranger to pressure, and with Canadian fans behind him, Wilson’s appearance is set to be one of the weekend’s biggest talking points. He will be joined by Christian Craig, whose smooth, stylish riding and race-winning pace give KMG serious SX1 potential.
KMG’s SX2 line-up is equally loaded. Cameron McAdoo brings his trademark determination and all-out commitment to the gates, while New Zealand’s Brodie Connolly adds more international strength to the squad. McAdoo’s ability to push through adversity is well known, and Connolly will be determined to show that he belongs among the division’s best.
MotoConcepts Racing
At MotoConcepts Racing, the SX1 line-up pairs Austin Politelli with veteran Mike Alessi, who fills in for Enzo Lopes in Calgary only because of a schedule conflict. Alessi’s experience alone makes him a fascinating addition to the event. He has spent years racing at the highest levels of the sport, and that racecraft can become a major advantage when starts are chaotic and track conditions get rough.
MotoConcepts will field Ryan Breece and Robbie Wageman in SX2. Both Americans have the speed to battle inside a fiercely competitive field, and their mission will be clear: get out front, settle into a rhythm and force the rest of the pack to respond.
Venum Bud Racing
Venum Bud Racing has assembled a line-up with the versatility to challenge across both categories. In SX1, Mitchell Harrison and Australia’s Luke Clout will carry the team’s colours. Harrison brings speed and determination, while Clout’s international experience and aggressive approach make him a rider capable of becoming a genuine factor as the night develops.
In SX2, Henry Miller is joined by Jack Chambers, who will stand in for Jake Cannon in Calgary only due to a schedule conflict. Chambers will be eager to maximize the opportunity, while Miller has the pace and experience needed to fight through a deep field.
Rick Ware Racing
Then there is Rick Ware Racing, a team arriving with a roster guaranteed to capture attention. In SX1, Cooper Webb and Justin Hill make up a heavyweight pairing. Webb’s reputation as one of supercross’s most formidable race-day competitors needs no introduction. When pressure builds and the main event reaches its final laps, he has repeatedly shown an ability to stay calm, make decisive moves and fight to the finish.
Hill brings his own serious speed to the equation. With a smooth style and the confidence to run at the front, he has all the ingredients to create big moments at the Canadian GP. Together, Webb and Hill give Rick Ware Racing a formidable SX1 combination.
The team’s SX2 line-up is just as exciting. American Devin Simonson teams with Great Britain’s Max Anstie, bringing together two riders with the pace to challenge the leading group. Anstie’s international pedigree, experience and the current SX2 champion, make him one of the standout names in SX2, while Simonson will be focused on putting together the kind of complete performance that can shake up the results.
Team GSM
Team GSM brings a strong European presence to the paddock. French riders Maxime Desprey and Jordi Tixier will represent the team in SX1, offering a combination of technical skill, international race experience and serious motivation. In SX2, Canadian rider Cole Thompson will have the home crowd in his corner, partnered with fellow Frenchman Calvin Fonvieille. Thompson’s Canadian support could create one of the loudest moments of the weekend when he hits the track.
Stark
The Stark team is set to bring a unique edge to the Canadian GP. In SX1, Vince Friese and Spain’s Jorge Zaragoza make up a pairing built for intensity. Friese is renowned for his uncompromising approach to racing, while Zaragoza brings international experience and a determination to make an impact. In SX2, Michael Hicks and Germany’s Brian Hsu complete the line-up, adding even more global talent to an already diverse field.
595 Racing
Rounding out the confirmed entry is 595 Racing, led in SX1 by France’s Greg Aranda and American Kevin Moranz. Aranda brings a wealth of experience and a polished European racing style, while Moranz is known for showing up ready to battle. In SX2, Luke Fauser fills in for injured Hector Assunção and joins German rider Nico Koch. Both will be looking to turn the opportunity into a headline-making Canadian GP performance.
From Cooper Webb and Jason Anderson to Dean Wilson, Christian Craig, Max Anstie, Cole Thompson and a deep international roster of challengers, the Canadian GP has all the ingredients for an unforgettable night of supercross. The line-up is confirmed. The teams are locked in. Now, it is time for the gates to drop.
